Typical disaster movie - amusingly implausible. Acting wasn't bad - Tommy Lee is always fun to watch - but Don Cheadle was an oddly laid back and rather unstressed disaster coordinater. Special effects were rather poor, but it is an older film.
Most fun I had was spotting the goofs... ashes, no ashes... it's sunny, it's dark, it's sunny... ;p

"VOLCANO" is just plain bad. It's not even so-bad-it's-good bad: It's just plain bad. It is implausible at every turn. For a better volcano movie, see "DANTE'S PEAK", which came out 2-months before "VOLCANO". ("VOLCANO" was a Hollywood copycat movie.) What a waste…
