Things are getting strange in Paradise, Massachusetts. Police chief Stone is called to the junior high school with reports of lewd conduct by the school's principle, Betsy Ingersoll. Ingersoll claims she was protecting her students when she inspected each girl's undergarments in the locker room. Jesse would like nothing better than to see her punished, but her high-powered attorney husband stands in the way.

I love Robert Parker but the Jesse Stone novels are slow & depressing. I'll take Spencer anytime!

A note to the librarians: The details listed under this novel are completely wrong. For one this is a fiction book and it for sure doesn't have anything to do with the cold war or international relations. Looks as though the info for some other book entirely was transposed to this title.
