The first book was far superior to this sequel. Great writing and easy to read, finished in abut three hours but the story is rather weak. Most of the time I found myself wondering what Camelia was thinking, and wanting to smack some sense into her. Not terrible, but really nothing special.

I lost interest in the series because of this novel. I loved the first one. The concept of psychometry is very interesting and was a unique idea to go forward with. However, this novel was a repeat of the first one. Same stalker issue, same angst between Camelia and Ben, and in hindsight, I wasn't impressed with how shallow Camelias two friends were. It fell below my expectations, making it a disappointment to me, personally. Haven't read DLG, hopefully a bit better!

This book is sooo great!! It has a ton of suspense and it is like a romance novel that you can't put down. I can't wait for the next book Deadly Little Games.

Great series. Like to supernatural, but need a break from vampires and werewolves and witches. This would be a great read. And it keeps you reading to the end and the end is always good. There is another book coming out in December 28, 2010. Deadly Little Games. Can't wait.

This series is very similar to the twilight saga; minus the vampires and werewolves. In other words it follows a similar storyline. Boy meets girl, boy saves girl, they fall in love, too dangerous so they break up, girl meets someone else, boy comes back. What makes this book good though is the mystery of it. It isn't Nancy Drew, but it is still interesting. You'll be guessing until the end who the real villain is; the series is also well known for a twisted ending.

Last fall, sixteen-year-old Camelia fell for Ben, the mysterious new boy at school who turned out to have a very mysterious gift--pyschometry, the ability to sense the future through touch. But just as Camelia and Ben's romance began to heat up, he abruptly left town. Brokenhearted, Camelia has spent the last few months studying everything she can about psychometry, and experiencing her own strange brushes with premonition. Camelia wonders if Ben's abilities have somehow rubbed off on her. Can the power of psychometry be transferred? Even once Ben returns to school, Camelia can't get close enough to share her secret with him. Despite the romantic tension between them, Ben remains aloof, avoiding contact. Then when an unexpected kiss leads to a frightening argument, Camelia makes the painful decision to let Ben go and move on. Adam, the hot new guy at work, seems good for her in ways Ben wasn't. Adam is easygoing, and seems to really care about her. But when Camelia and Adam start dating, a surprising love triangle results. A chilling sequence of events upturns secrets from Ben's past--and Adam's. Someone is lying, and it's up to Camelia to figure out who-before it's too late.

"Actually I think you're pretty great... when you're not being scary, that is." "Scary?" He pries the carving tool out of my hand and places it out of reach. "Maybe we should keep all sharp objects at a distance," he jokes. " At least until you're in a more cheerful mood." "Very funny." "At least it got you laughing."
