I enjoy this series a lot. Sharon McCone develops as a person, and picks up new friends or family, in every book, and many of these people stay in the series moving forward. Sometimes it is hard to keep track of all the characters, especially if the books are read out of order, or if there is a long gap since reading the previous book, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. In this book, Sharon is "coming back" from the events in "Locked In." It is a sensitive portrayal of the problems faced in recovery from a mental disability, as well as a solid mystery and a good read.

Solid and well-written, just... nothing special.
