I have just recently started reading Elaine Viets and at first I thought that her mysteries were a little too light for me....then I got into the characters. The main characters are leading a quite interesting life and the supporting characters are colorful. Overall I'd say I'm now hooked on the "Dead end Jobs" series. It's a light read but very entertaining.
