Though Ascension ends in a kind of depressing way, I did enjoy reading it. A lot of important things happen that make this book seem pretty fast paced compared to its predecessors, and the plot just felt stronger. I thought that it set up very well for the finale: Apocalypse. I think the best part part of this book was Jagged Fel and the Chiss Vs. Daala and the Moffs.

Fate of the Jedi is one of the best post-Episode-VI Star Wars series ever. It just keeps getting better! I can't wait for the conclusion, Apocalypse! I want to see the fate of Abeloth, the Lost Tribe and Vestara! Warning: spoilers ahead! If you've read the Star Wars: Legacy comic series, then you know you don't have to worry about the Jedi Order and Ben, because if they were destroyed, then Cade Skywalker wouldn't exist.

DAALA: "We are moving forward to claim something that no longer has a challenger. Chief of State Jagged Fel is dead."
JAGGED FEL: "Oh, I rather think not. Jaina wouldn't stand for it. That girl really wants her wedding."
DAALA: "Really, Jag? I think she'd look much better in black."
