My favourite part is when Judy saves the world! My favourite character is Judy Moody. In the book Judy said not to use the pencils because it was wood used from trees.

i think that Stink's crazy strip was better than Judy's banana save the world one.

Judy Moody's class is studying the environment, whipping Judy into a frenzy of activism. Initially, in a very Judy way, she initially turns to her home, causing chaos with her mining of the family trash to ensure nothing recyclable or reusable is thrown away. Eventually, Judy channels that energy into something productive, leading her class on a recycling drive with the profits going to plant trees in the Amazon. But little does Judy know that her efforts are going to get her more notoriety than she bargained for.

This is a great entry in the Judy Moody series, perhaps the best to date. Judy's hypermanicness becomes focused as she channels it into saving the world, and we see a better Judy, one that is engaging, passionate and will, some day, take over the world if she can just stay focused! Megan McDonald's writing rises to a higher level here. Twinned with Peter H. Reynolds illustrations, we get a very good book that is worthy of any library or classroom collection.
