An ambitious, emotional and satisfying conclusion to my favourite trilogy! Christopher Nolan ups the ante and raises the stakes in this epic conclusion. The film has such a large scope and scale. Does the story of Bruce Wayne/Batman justice.

Kind of an uneven affair- Catwoman is totally superfluous to the story- or maybe I just didn't like the actress portraying her. Still, there's enough good stuff for fans of the first two entries in the franchise to enjoy.

Christopher Nolan is back with the third installment in his Batman trilogy. He ups the cinematography game and character development, even though it added some time to this film. With an all-star cast, The Dark Knight Rises meets the expectations of the superhero movie of 2012, as well as pushes the limits for future superhero movies of its kind. Even with the new additions in the Batman franchise, no one can beat Christian Bale's characters.

Bruce has been retired for the past 8 years, Two Face/Harvey Dent has long been dead, but Batman is urgently needed when a terrorist Bane tries to carry out Ra's al Ghu's vision. Then there's the case of Cat woman, a master thief who just wants a way out of her poverty-bound life. Gothamites left to survive in anarchy without help from other cities, the film has a major plot twist at the end. With incredible performances from very achieved actors, along with the film score producer Hans Zimmer's music, this movie got over 1 billion at the box office.

Good movie, just the weakest in the trilogy. Batman Begins is probably the best origins story of any super-hero, the Dark Knight.....one of my all time favorite movies.

This is a 2012 British-American Batman movie directed by Christopher Nolan.
It is the final installment in Nolan's Batman film trilogy after "Batman Begins (2005)" and "The Dark Knight (2008)."
At the near-end, Batman overpowers Bane and interrogates Bane for the bomb's trigger, but Tate intervenes and stabs him.
Tate reveals herself to be Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul's daughter.
This is a manipulated surprise and a bit of letdown.
In any case, it is an gripping and fascinating entertaining piece.

Great movie, better than all the trash that Hollywood dishes out even now.

Holds up well to a repeat viewing.
Excessive length makes it the weakest of Nolan's Batman Trilogy but that still makes it a very strong showing indeed, with compelling performances from some of the finest contemporary screen actors in the world at the moment.

I forced myself to watch the first 40 minutes (while doing other things in order to prevent going completely insane due to the incredibly boring story)

If you like the rest of the franchise, you will probably like this. Personally, I tried three or four times to finish it and could not.

WORST MOVIE EVER!!! Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were so much better, because they had Joker, and Christian Bale was really good-looking. The plot in this movie was all messed up, especially with Bane and Catwoman. They didn't even get the characters right!

Bane: Nobody cared who I was until I put the mask on. CIA Agent: If I take off your mask, will you die? Bane: It would be extremely painful. CIA Agent: You look like a tough guy...... Bane: For you. CIA Agent: Was getting caught part of your plan? Bane: Of course. CIA Agent: Well you did it! Now what's the next step in your master plan? Bane: Crashing this plane..............with no survivors!!!

By then it was nothing to me but BLINDING! (grabs Batman from the shadows and continues to beat him) The shadows betray you, because they belong to me! (repeatedly punches Batman in the face, breaking his cowl) I will show you where I have made my home whilst preparing to bring justice. Then, I will break you.
