Having perused many Slow Cooker Cookbooks, I found this one to have the simplest, healthiest recipes. I like the taste of foods without too many added seasonings and this cookbook uses fewer ingredients in most cases. Also, if it is possible to make something right in the slow cooker, without a lot of prep and pre-cooking, this book tells you how.

Healthy is the key word in the title of this book. There is very little that is traditional about these recipes. If you like to experiment with new ingredients and try new ideas this book is full of yummy looking recipes.
