This is a 2002 Canadian/British psychological thriller produced and directed by David Cronenberg, based on the novel of the same name by Patrick McGrath.
As a typical Cronenberg-esque film, it is a weird and bizarre movie.
It will send a chill and sensation along your spine at the end of the film.
You'll certainly think twice---if not thrice---what the heck his mother really is.
Although profoundly dark, it is a thought-provoking film.
