If you think you know the story of Frankenstein from the movies, and there have been 66 of them, you must read Mary Shelley's original version with Leonard Wolf's annotations. You will realize that the story really reflects the life of Mary Shelley and P.B.
Given that Mary was only 17 when she wrote this there is a world of knowledge she incorporated into her text and is forever admired by scholars like Wolf. Definitely worth the read.
