Good action teen movie.

I graduated the same year this came out. I saw it on VHS and liked it. As a fan of Star Trek the Next Generation, and a non-hater of Wesley (Wil Wheaton) I was happy to see him and a grown up Goonie (Sean Astin-Sam...Rudy...) in a teen action movie (and rated R to boot). I liked it then and it still does a late 80's/early 90's action movie justice. Bad acting by the kids, decent by the adults and a pretty good storyline balanced out by decent, implausible action sequences. The clothes alone took me back to my senior year (stonewashed/acid washed jeans and various modified t-shirts...sweatshirts were made to cut the neck out of, right?). I enjoyed it, but I see it as it is-an average, dated teen action movie.
