I liked the characters but it's too wordy and predictable. I skipped to the end and confirmed my guess of the ending.

A little psychology shtick, a little coy humor, a little too easy to figure out, this mystery held my interest until two-thirds way through before I skimmed to the predictable end. I liked the characters – especially the dog - and the plot was good, just spun out too thin. I’ll try another of her books before giving up on her.

Really enjoyed this book. I hope the author continues on with the two main characters, I grew quite fond of them and would like to see them in another book.
